Haus Scheu
Das Haus Scheu wurde in den Jahren 1912–1913 in Hietzing in der Nähe der Villa Steiner gebaut. Der Kunde war der Rechtsanwalt Dr. Gustav Scheu, der für sein Geld ein einzigartiges Terrassenhaus erwarb, etwas, was damals ohnegleichen war. Loos wiederholte diesen Zugang noch einige Male, z. B. im Falle der Villa Winternitz. Das Haus Scheu ist heute bewohnt und der Öffentlichkeit nicht zugänglich.
Scheu Haus
Dům Scheu vyrostl v letech 1912–1913 ve vídeňském Hietzingu nedaleko vily Steiner. Zadavatelem byl Dr. Gustav Scheu, jenž za své peníze získal unikátní terasový dům, něco tehdy nevídaného. Loos tento přístup ještě zopakoval – například v případě Winternitzovy vily. Dům je obýván a veřejnost jej nemůže navštívit.
Scheu House
Scheu House was built in 1912–1913 in Hietzing, Vienna, not far from the Villa Steiner. The customer was in this case Dr Gustav Scheu who got something extraordinary for his money: a house with multiple terraces which, back then, was something quite new. Adolf Loos repeated his idea of such a house in a couple of cases – and Villa Winternitz is one of them. The Scheu House is inhabited and not accessible to the public.
